Commissioned Work
We have been commissioned by the Commonwealth War Graves Commission to provide numerous renovation work and replacement memorials in the North East, South Tyneside and Wearside areas.
We are also commissioned to carry out work for North East, South Tyneside and Wearside County Councils.
Company History
Ian Wood Memorials Ltd has been trading since 1932 it is a family run business and we are all time served craftsmen.
We are all expert masons, carvers and letter cutters and are very experienced craftsmen. All our work is finished to a very high standard on our own premises. We carry out our own fixing to BRAMM accreditation.
All our material is of the highest quality from India and China and marble from Carrara Italy. The gold leaf we use is 23.5 carat. All anchor bolts used are to BRAMM accreditation.
We can also quote for additional inscriptions and renovations as required. All materials are guaranteed for 15 years.
